Le storytelling est l’un des outils les plus anciens et les plus puissants pour favoriser la guérison et la création de liens.

Nos ateliers réunissent des réfugié·e·s et des professionnel·le·s afin de :

explorer des récits personnels

renforcer la résilience émotionnelle

consolider l’identité et le sentiment d’appartenance

favoriser la compréhension entre les communautés

Les séances sont animées par des facilitateur·rice·s formé·e·s, selon des pratiques sensibles aux traumatismes.

Histoires vraies mises en images par l’intelligence artificielle

Dans le cadre des ateliers, nous avons également développé neuf vidéos d’animation numériques qui donnent vie aux récits de réfugié·e·s. Ces vidéos :

  • présentent des récits personnels partagés pendant les séances
  • rendent les apprentissages issus des ateliers accessibles à un public plus large
  • mettent en valeur la résilience, l’espoir et la compréhension interculturelle

Elles constituent à la fois des ressources éducatives et inspirantes, en complément des ateliers en présentiel.

Scattered

This animated story shares the voice of a woman over sixty-five whose life was transformed by war, violence, and forced displacement. Once surrounded by family, home, and stability, she was forced to flee after terror and conflict destroyed her community and scattered her loved ones across different countries.

Glimmer

This animated story shares the journey of a woman who fled Gaza with her children in search of safety and dignity. Carrying only documents, memories, and hope, she travelled through Türkiye and Cyprus before eventually reaching Belgium.

The Race

This animated story follows Amal Hammad, a Palestinian mother whose family spent ten years navigating uncertainty, rejection, and displacement while seeking safety and stability in Europe. Through the eyes of a mother protecting her children, the story reflects the emotional toll of prolonged asylum processes, family insecurity, and the search for belonging.

Tastes like Home

This animated story reflects on memory, food, and the quiet ways people carry home with them after displacement. Living in Zagreb far from Damascus, the storyteller recreates familiar meals and traditions as a way of holding onto identity, family, and belonging.

Requalifying

This animated story follows Omar, a former doctor from Baghdad who arrived in Finland carrying his qualifications, experience, and determination to practice medicine again. Faced with language barriers, licensing exams, and years of requalification, he worked night jobs while continuing to study and rebuild his professional life.

My First Team

This animated story follows Ahmed, a young refugee who arrived in Finland alone at the age of seventeen carrying only a backpack, a phone number, and hope for safety. Struggling with loneliness, language barriers, and uncertainty, he slowly found connection through football — a place where he could belong even without words.

Light in the Long Night

This animated story follows the journey of Zanoubia Hasan, a woman who survived violence, displacement, isolation, and years of uncertainty before rebuilding her life in Belgium. After being targeted because of her humanitarian positions and suffering serious injuries, she spent years trapped in difficult conditions in northern Syria, separated from her family and unable to continue her studies.

From Aleppo to Amsterdam

This animated story follows Najem’s journey from Aleppo, Syria, to building a new life in the Netherlands. After losing his father at a young age and witnessing the destruction caused by war, Najem was forced to leave Syria in search of safety and a future free from violence.

A Dream to Tell Stories

This animated story follows the journey of a young Syrian man who left home not only to survive, but to follow his dream of telling stories through film. From creating films with cardboard and imagination as a child, to facing hardship, homelessness, and discrimination in Türkiye, he continued to hold onto hope and creativity.
