Building mental health literacy and community resilience among Arab-speaking refugees in Europe.
Through education, storytelling, and culturally sensitive approaches to mental health, the project connects professionals, organizations, and Arab refugees to build safer, more informed, and more resilient communities together.
1
Mental health topics explained in an accessible, culturally attuned way — by Arab-speaking professionals and community members.
2
Workshops for refugees and professionals that use storytelling as a tool to build resilience, reduce stigma and foster mutual understanding.
3
A practical handbook and materials that help experts deliver culturally competent support to Arab-speaking communities.
Migrants and refugees from Arabic-speaking regions face unique stressors: displacement, stigma around mental health, language barriers, and lack of culturally appropriate care.
Our goal is to create space where mental health becomes understandable, approachable and safe in one’s own language and cultural context.
